Students used counting bears and 1:1 correspondence to figure out how many bears are given.
Teacher makes a cave out of folded paper or a plastic cup. Students count x number of bears, roll a die, then subtract that many bears by putting them into the cave.
Students place specific quantities of playdoh “food” into the mouth of a bear face.
Students listened to the number of beats (0-10) by musical instruments and said how many beats there were in total.
